I decided to attend high holiday services at Beth Jacob in Hamilton, with my brother Peter, the synagogue I grew up at, rather than at Or Shalom in London, where I had gotten to know a few people over the summer, when I had attended their services over the summer, but decided it wouldn't fell quite right.
I decided to stay at Bronte Creek Provincial Park again as opposed to any other options.
Peter was very happy to have me sitting in "our family row." Attendance as been dwindling as the community ages and thee was a new cantor, a female, on the bima. The service met my spiritual needs. Peter cooked amazing meals as usual.
In the afternoons I rode my bike on the trails around the Provincial Park. Some of the trees were starting to show some fall colour.
